Near the Retreat Center

Before and after you arrive at Spirit Vine, spend time in the nearby coastal town of Itacare. It is strongly recommended you extend your trip a few days before and after the retreat to allow your body time to adjust before traveling home. Take a boating excursion to one of the islands, visit a waterfall, explore the local shops, and see what the area has to offer. We will arrange a car to take you to and from the center.

Real People, Real Impact

Many of our participants have spoken about their favorite aspects and the lessons they learned during their visit to the Spirit Vine Center.

9 Days, 4 Ayahuasca Ceremonies

Our 9 day Ayahuasca Retreat includes 4 ayahuasca ceremonies and a range of other activities. The retreat is meticulously designed to give participants a balanced and deep experience to connect with their higher self, to reconnect with their own power, and to connect with nature. The retreats include workshops that are carefully developed from a range of different modalities to give participants an immersive experience in spiritual development. The various activities are designed to integrate all the information and insights coming from the Ayahuasca experience as well as insights received during the week in workshops, sharing sessions, and group discussions.

The three ceremonies in this retreat will be held at night in the beautiful, purpose built ceremony room in the jungle. We are protected from insects inside by mosquito nets, and outside, the symphony of sounds from the frogs, animals and insects is the perfect backdrop to a night of spiritual discovery. Music is carefully chosen for the ceremony that supports, triggers and guides the participant in their spiritual journey with the Ayahuasca vine.

The fourth ceremony is held in the morning and the intention is to connect with nature. After an hour, if the participants feel ready, they can go outside the ceremony room and walk around the gardens in the jungle, they can swim and float in the lagoon, and they can also spend time in hammocks or watch the tapestries in our massage room. We always have a facilitator in the ceremony room and outside in the area where the participants can walk to ensure safety and provide support when required.

Please note that the plant ceremonies are always optional; while it is recommended, it is not essential that participants attend all of the activities. Read more about our Ayahuasca ceremonies.

11 Days, 5 Ayahuasca Ceremonies

Our 11 day retreat includes 5 ayahuasca ceremonies and a range of other activities. The retreat is meticulously designed to give participants a balanced experience and the opportunity to go even deeper to connect with their higher self, to align with their essence and purpose, and to connect with nature.

The retreats include workshops for spiritual development that are carefully developed by Silvia Polivoy from her experience in psychotherapy, shamanism, and a range of other spiritual practices. These workshops give participants an immersive experience in spiritual development and provide tools that help them to go deeper during the ayahuasca experience as well as to continue evolving after the retreat. The various activities are designed to integrate all the information and insights coming from the Ayahuasca ceremony experience as well as insights received during the week in workshops, sharing sessions, and group discussions.

The five ceremonies will be divided between night-time ceremonies and day-time ceremonies. Depending on the group dynamic, we will have either three night-time + two daytime ayahuasca ceremonies, or four night-time + one daytime ayahuasca ceremony.

Our ceremonies are conducted in a beautiful purpose-built ceremony room in the jungle. In this room we are protected from insects by mosquito nets, and outside, the jungle orchestra with the frogs, animals, and insects is the perfect backdrop to a period of deep spiritual discovery. Music is carefully chosen for the ceremony from different parts of the world. It is a tool that supports, triggers and guides the participant in their spiritual journey with the ayahuasca vine.

During the daytime ceremony, we have a common group intention to connect with nature, and each participant also brings their personal intention. During the ceremony, if the participants feel stable and capable, they can go walk around the gardens, they can swim and float in the natural pond, and they can also spend time in hammocks or watch the tapestries in our massage room.
