Ayahuasca Retreats

Our mission is to provide a safe container for healing by helping each person reconnect with their higher self, inner child, and mother Gaia.

Our Process

Once your application is approved and your payment is confirmed, we’ll help you plan and prepare, ensuring you have a safe experience.

The Retreat

We’ll arrange for safe transportation once you arrive & provide you with delicious, healthy meals & comfortable lodging while at Spirit Vine. Enjoy a swim in our natural lagoon!

Ceremonies

Choose to stay for either 9 or 11 days with the group ceremony happening every other night. Our Ayahuasca tea is always free & optional.

Workshops

Our lead facilitator, Silvia Polivoy draws on her clinical psychology background to guide each person to uncover the root causes of what is holding them back.

Activities

We offer yoga, art, massage and watsu. Optional but highly encouraged to get the most from your journey.

Where We Are

We are located on the Northeast coast of Bahia, Brazil, right in the Atlantic rainforest, near the beach town of Itacare.

What You’ll Eat

Our chef creates a flavorful and balanced menu with vegan and vegetarian options. Our diet is compatible with ayahuasca, prepared with local, mostly organic products that nourish the body throughout the retreat.

Where You’ll Stay

Nestled in lush tropical landscaped gardens, The Vine Center has comfortable bungalows and a dormitory with panoramic views of the jungle and the surrounding flowered gardens. Enjoy sitting on the balcony, relaxing in a hammock, or diving into the pond. The whole center has electricity and wifi. Each bungalow is equipped with electricity, comfortably sleeps two guests, and has its own private bathroom. The grounds are in a secluded and safe part of the jungle surrounding a private lagoon for swimming. Take in the views and hear wildlife nearby.

What You’ll Do

Spiritvine’s unique style of ayahuasca ritual is profound, safe, comfortable, and supportive. Silvia believes that the spirit of ayahuasca is the true teacher, and her ceremonies are designed to help participants tune into their higher self, deeply relax into the experience, and connect directly with the source. Each ceremony is optional, although we highly encourage you to participate fully. You will have ample free time to relax or partake in a yoga class, get a massage, or create art. There will also be group sharing sessions and one-on-one sessions available.

Who We Are

Lead facilitator Silvia Polivoy, a licensed clinical psychologist with training in shamanic traditions, cofounded Spiritvine with profound intention—where each detail has been thoughtfully crafted and imbued with a strong feminine presence.

Meet the Vine

Each group is given a walking tour of the gardens around the center on the final day of the retreat. Participants will get to see the Banisteriopsis caapi (the vine) and Psychotria viridis (the leaves containing DMT) that make up the ayahuasca tea brew.

Reviews

I attended Spirit Vine in January of 2024. I waited a year and a half to write this review because I wanted to complete my integration with that experience.

I visited Spirit Vine for the first time during the pandemic, in November of 2020. As a birthday gift to myself, I decided to go, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.

I have been to Spirit Vine 3 times. I want to tell anyone and everyone who is considering this retreat center that this place and this experience have been incredibly healing for me.
