What To Expect
Our 9 day Retreat includes 4 ayahuasca ceremonies and three workshops, and our 11 day retreat includes 5 ayahuasca ceremonies and four workshops. The retreat is meticulously designed to give participants a balanced and deep experience to connect with their higher self, to reconnect with their own power, and to connect with nature.
Stay in Itacaré Before the Retreat
The retreats include workshops that are carefully developed from a range of different modalities and take place every other day as a group. The various activities are designed to help integrate the insights coming from the Ayahuasca experience, workshops, and sharing sessions. Heal the physical body through yoga, massage, and watsu and translate your visions artistically during non-ceremony days.
All activities & workshops are optional but recommended
Ayahuasca Ceremonies
The ayahusca ceremonies are always free and optional. The first several sessions take place at night in the ceremony room while the final ceremony with a smaller dose takes place during the day. We allow boosters after one hour if necessary and are always available to you if you need assistance. The ceremony room has private bathrooms with running water. We use a curated playlist designed to activate different levels of insights during your journey.
Nutritious + Delicious Meals
We have a local chef on staff who provides breakfast and lunch every day, and dinner on non-ceremony days. The meals are vegan and are made with fresh ingredients in a variety of flavors and textures that do not interfere with ayahuasca. We provide a special treat on the last day of the ceremony and always serve meals together as a group in our main dining area. Fresh water, teas, and juices are always available as well.

Reviews
I attended Spirit Vine in January of 2024. I waited a year and a half to write this review because I wanted to complete my integration with that experience.
Our Process
Our retreats are intentionally small and carefully held. The journey typically unfolds as follows:
-
Apply To Attend
Complete the application above with honesty and care. This helps us understand where you are in your journey and whether Spirit Vine is a supportive fit at this time. -
Personal Interview
If your application feels aligned, you’ll be invited to a conversation with lead facilitator, Silvia. This is a space to ask questions, clarify intentions, and ensure mutual readiness. -
Confirmation & Payment
Once accepted, you’ll receive next steps regarding reserving your bungalow and sending the payment. -
Preparation
Begin preparing physically, emotionally, and energetically. -
Travel Planning
We’ll support you with guidance on booking your trip. -
Arriving at Spirit Vine
Retreat days include guided workshops, ceremonies, movement, rest, and reflective practices. -
Group Sharing & Reflection
Integration is supported through facilitated sharing circles and one-on-one sessions as needed. -

Healing is not a race. What matters most is choosing paths that honor your wellbeing, readiness, and integrity.
Why Choose Spirit Vine?
We understand you have many options when choosing a retreat. We offer a safe, intimate, and deeply healing environment that honors your personal responsibility, inner wisdom, and long-term integration.
Before You Arrive
It is imperative that you prepare your mind, body, and spirit before embarking on the journey to our retreat center. Once you are approved to attend, our lead facilitator, Silvia Polivoy, will be able to answer any questions you have before, during, and after your stay.
Honoring The Roots of the Medicine
At Spirit Vine, we honor and respect the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon who have been practicing this tradition for centuries. Our ceremonies are guided in partnership with trained Shipibo healers, who carry songs (icaros), prayers, and practices into each brew.
